An idiosyncratic set of 136 tiles, made of early plastic, probably a type of celluloid, and hand-carved. The 1 tiao bird is very unusual, as is the bai ban. All the tiles are a waxy yellow with black backs, making it an early example of two-tone plastic sets. It is housed in a relatively modern wood box.
